Phoenix Valor Hero Workout- Honouring Our Local Heroes
Join the team at Phoenix fitness as they honour our local first responders. Owners Chase and Haley Ainsworth (Haley is a paramedic of 13 years) have created this event to support the many paramedics, firefighters, police officers, nurses, and frontline heroes in our community. All proceeds go to Boots on the Ground in support of first responder mental health.
Workout Variations
- No pull-up bar? Do burpees + bent-over rows.
- Can’t run? Use any cardio machine.
- Split the work however you need — just get it done!
RX:
- 5 mile run
- 75 burpee pull-ups (pull-up bar just out of reach; wear a vest if you have one)
- Partition as needed (e.g., 5 rounds of 1 mile + 15 BPU)
Intermediate:
- 3 mile run
- 45 burpee pull-ups
- Partition as needed
Beginner:
- 1.5–2 mile run
- 20–30 burpee pull-ups or variation (use a jump or box if needed)
- Partition as needed
Full 4-week progression available on request.
