With over twenty years of professional experience, Lyndsey is trained in a range of trauma-informed modalities including EMDR, Internal Family Systems–informed EMDR, EMDR Equine Assisted Protocol, Deep Brain Reorienting, Equine Psychotherapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Her career spans community mental health, private practice, and service as a Clinical Social Worker with the Department of National Defence, where she supported active military members through psychosocial and general mental health teams. She has also served as a faculty advisor at York University, supervising student placements, and as a volunteer de-briefer with the York Region Critical Incident Stress Management Team, providing post-incident support to police, paramedics, and fire services. Her clinical focus includes trauma across the lifespan, with specialized expertise in supporting military personnel, first responders, veterans, and their families, as well as addressing relational trauma, traumatic grief, attachment challenges, and antagonist relational stress.
